Milkdrunk at The Space @ Symposium Hall

Milkdrunk is an original one-woman show written and performed by Washington, D.C.-based playwright Cathleen O'Malley, directed by Elaine Feagler and Christine McBurney. The show plunges the audience into themes of childbirth, breastfeeding, and modern motherhood, crackling with humor and searing vulnerability. The piece premiered off-Broadway at the United Solo Theatre Festival at Theater Row in New York City and has since sold out houses from Cleveland, Ohio to Washington, D.C. This Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut marks O'Malley's first appearance at the festival, described as a primal scream from the trenches of first-time motherhood.
