MUSE: The Shakespeare Mayhem Musical at Underbelly's Cowbarn, Bristo Square, Edinburgh

Muse: The Shakespeare Mayhem Musical is a new pop musical comedy created by students at Interlochen Arts Academy, with music and lyrics by Hanna Andréa and book co-written by Lisa Sanderson and a team of students. Set before Shakespeare became the Bard, the show follows a young William Shakespeare whose characters — including Puck, Lear, Cleopatra, and the Macbeths — revolt in a chaotic race to become his first great play. The cast includes Dallyn Vail Bayles, Karis Brizendine, Thom Bergamo, Megan Colton, Matthew Dunivan, Eleni Kutay, Nate Janis as Shakespeare, Sydney Kamel, Luis Rivera as Macbeth, Maya Rowe, and Maya Sta. Ana. The production is directed by Mindy Cooper and follows a sold-out industry presentation at Lincoln Center's Clark Studio Theater.
