Legend is the debut stand-up comedy show from Madeleine Brettingham, winner of So You Think You're Funny? 2025 and silver medallist at Funny Women in the same year. Fuelled by pork scratchings and a lust for glory, Brettingham explores what growing up in a world of booze-soaked bad behaviour taught her about how man becomes myth. Brettingham is a comedy writer whose credits include Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Would I Lie To You?, and Have I Got News For You, and whose play Dear Martin premiered at the Arcola Theatre in 2025. The show runs 60 minutes and is presented as a flagship show in Gilded Balloon's 2026 Edinburgh Fringe programme.
