Hasan Al-Habib: Stuck in the Middle (East) with You at Pleasance Courtyard - Upstairs

Hasan Al-Habib brings his new stand-up show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, exploring his parents' divorce, family conflict, and the complex coexistence of love and resentment. The show offers a candid and deeply personal examination of his relationship with his mother, shaped by growing up as the eldest of three children in an Iraqi immigrant family. Hasan reflects on estrangement, grief, and domestic abuse within his family, and how comedy has served as both an escape and a means of processing these experiences. Al-Habib previously sold out his solo debut Death To The West (Midlands) at the Edinburgh Fringe and at Soho Theatre.
