DREAMSCAPE at Gilded Balloon

DREAMSCAPE is a powerful hip-hop theatre production written and directed by Rickerby Hinds, set to make its UK debut at the Gilded Balloon. The show, which intertwines beatboxing, spoken word, and hip-hop dance, is inspired by the tragic story of Tyisha Miller, exploring themes of race, violence, and the human experience through the life of a fictionalized character, Myeisha Mills. With a cast featuring John "Faahz" Merchant, Jade Evelyn Ramsay, and Josiah Alpher, DREAMSCAPE confronts the stark realities of its themes while honoring the contributions of Black women throughout history.
