Cruising is a new play by Katrina Bennett, presented by Dreambite Collective in their Edinburgh Fringe debut. The play is a subversive queer romcom about polyamory, protest, and passion, following a dancer and a climate activist who meet on a Mediterranean cruise and discover they are both in a relationship with the same person. Their rivalry escalates into a competitive campaign of eco-sabotage against the mega-polluting ship, while the play explores the collision of authoritarian anti-protest laws with impending climate collapse. The cast features Clare Stenning as Amelia, Davy Roderick as Sam, and Fabian Bevan as the Captain.
