Judith is Urbanite's second show of the season and an adventurous start to the new year! Synopsis: "Let me imagine, since facts are so hard to come by, what would have happened had Shakespeare had a wonderfully gifted sister, called Judith, let us say." -Virginia Woolf. Dressed in drag, Judith heads to London to save her brother’s reputation. In a patriarchal, politically-charged, and deeply divided nation, she pursues work as a poet and discovers the pleasures and pitfalls of passing as the bard himself. Gallivanting in and out of character, JUDITH is a solo show that questions identity, ambition, and self-worth Judith opens on January 5 and runs through February 18. Wednesdays: 7:30 PM Thursdays: 7:30 PM Fridays: 8:00 PM Saturdays: 2:00 & 8:00 PM Sundays: 2:00 PM Get your tickets now! https://www.urbanitetheatre.com/judith or call the Box Office at 941.321.1397.
