Beethoven & Mendelssohn opens the 2026 Sarasota Music Festival with Beethoven's Septet and Mendelssohn's Octet, written when the composer was just 16. The program also features 20th-century works by American composers Florence Price and Amy Beach, with Price's Adoration arranged by Joshua Ranz and Beach's Piano Quintet rounding out the evening. Faculty and fellows perform side by side in this inaugural concert of the two-week festival at Holley Hall.
