Abeo Quartet at Perlman Music Program Suncoast

Abeo Quartet is set to perform on February 11 at First Presbyterian Church in Sarasota. Formed at Juilliard in 2018, the quartet features members Njioma Grevious, Rebecca Benjamin, James Kang, and Macintyre Taback. They are recognized for their accolades, including third prize at the 2023 Bad Tölz International String Quartet Competition and final appearances at prestigious competitions such as the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. The group's name, which means "joy" in a Nigerian dialect, reflects their passion for chamber music.
