Once pronounced by Bob Dylan as America's "greatest living poet," acclaimed singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson returns to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Thursday, March 2 at 8PM.

With numerous awards including the Grammy Living Legend Award and NARAS Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters' Hall of Fame, Smokey has made his mark in the history of music! With more than 4,000 songs to his credit he continues to thrill audiences world-wide with his high tenor voice, impeccable timing, and profound sense of lyric.

Smokey's eternally smooth and instantly recognizable falsetto alone - without the strings, bass, guitar or drums -absolutely is the audio equivalent of comfort food...comfort food for the soul...with soul.

Tickets are $56-$131 available for purchase at VanWezel.org, the Box Office, or by calling 941-953-3368.
