Re:Vision at Center Stage Theater

Re:Vision will feature the choreography of Devyn Duex and Emily Tatomer, in three distinct works united by their use of dance as a medium of conveying perception, memory, and sensation.
Set to the soulful music of Nina Simone, "Snapshots," a lush and lyrical new work by Emily Tatomer, is a meditation on sense-memories, some somber and some light-hearted. "Sand Into Glass," a bold and intense new work choreographed by Devyn Duex and accompanied by video art by Erin Martinez, explores the emotional and physical landscape of a journey from self-destructive behavior to healing then to moving forward. Re:Vision will also feature a reprise of “Take the Bull by the Horns,” the dynamic, intellectual work by Emily Tatomer first presented in our debut 2011-2012 season.
