Soulful Joy is just what it sounds like: a joyful and soulful way to come together during the holiday season! Soulful Joy reimagines the holiday spirit with jazz, gospel, soul, and ahint ofstorytelling. It’s abeautifulnewtradition at Grace Cathedral!
Led by Destiny Muhammad’s stirring vocals and harp, Soulful Joy features her cool, eclectic Sonic Ensemble of Bay Area Masters:musicians Leon Joyce, Jr., Tammy Hall, and Ron Belcher; vocalists Leberta Loral, Nicolas Bearde, and Will Hammond Jr.; and dancers Carla Service and Victor Temple.
This performance is 75 minutes with no intermission. Children are more than welcome to attend if they can quietly enjoy a 60-minute concert. Thank you for your understanding!
