Sister Act is a musical comedy based on the beloved 1992 film, in which nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime and is placed in protective custody at a convent, where she transforms the struggling choir. The production features Karriyma Pekary as Deloris Van Cartier, Jennifer Taylor Daniels as Mother Superior, and Sofia Rosas as Sister Mary Robert, among a full ensemble cast. Directed by Rebecca Haley Clark with music direction by Daniel Goldsmith and choreography by Babe Payne, the show features songs including Raise Your Voice, Take Me to Heaven, and Spread the Love Around. The production is presented by Cabrillo Stage under Artistic Director Andrea L. Hart.
