San Francisco's Kronos Quartet has reimagined the string quartet experience for over 50 years, giving thousands of concerts and releasing more than 70 recordings while winning three Grammy Awards and the Polar Music Prize. In the second half of this concert, they reunite with singers Mahsa and Marjan Vahdat, internationally acclaimed Iranian musicians now based in the Bay Area, following their collaboration on the 2019 album Placeless. The performance is part of the new St. Lawrence Legacy Series presented in partnership with Stanford Live.
