Enraizar / Rooting Within showcases the journey of young women navigating the transition to womanhood through the vibrant expressions of Puerto Rican Bomba music and dance. This evening-length performance, created by Shefali Shah in collaboration with Aguacero, emphasizes the importance of embracing vulnerability to empower young women of color. The production forms part of the 20th Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance and Music, celebrating two decades of cultural contributions and community engagement.
