CubaCaribe presents its 20th Annual Festival of Dance and Music, featuring a special weekend of performances titled Mirando atras, moviendo pa’lante / Looking back, Moving forward. This mixed program will highlight six pieces from Bay Area Caribbean and Latinx artists, including Alayo Dance Company under Ramón Ramos Alayo, Arenas Dance Company, and Los Lupeños de San José. The festival celebrates two decades of community engagement, resistance, and joy through dance and music, culminating in a tribute to seven-time Grammy nominee John Santos.
