Maud, an uptight English matron, and John, a brusque middle-aged Scotsman, despise each other, despite the fact that his ward has just married her niece. Stranded in San Francisco through a series of misfortunes, they learn some comical lessons about life and love. From the author of Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo.
