A winter wonderland awaits your family at Imagination Theater. The holiday favorite, Irving Berlin's White Christmas opened last week to the delight of local audiences. Based on the beloved and timeless 1954 film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney, the story revolves around Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, two iconic song-and-dance men who follow a sister act to Vermont, only to discover that the nearly-bankrupt lodge they were to perform is owned by their former commanding general. The dazzling score features well known standards including "Blue Skies," "I Love a Piano," and the perennial favorite, "White Christmas."

Show times are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17. There are additional shows on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 20 and 21 at 7:00 p.m. The play closes on December 23. Tickets are $17 for adult, $14 for seniors, and $10 for children. Group tickets are available by phone only. Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged. Tickets can be purchased at www.it-tickets.org or by contacting the box office at 530-642-0404. Located on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, Imagination Theater brings quality, live community theater to Placerville and El Dorado County.
