Forecasters at NOAA and the National Weather Service warn that heavy snow, sleet, freezing rain, and dangerously cold temperatures are expected to impact hundreds of millions of people from January 23 through early next week, creating hazardous travel conditions and increasing the likelihood of power outages. As conditions evolve, this page will provide ongoing updates on weather-related cancellations and advisories.

Variety Playhouse has postponed Sunday’s performance of The Tom Petty Musical: “You Don’t Know How It Feels” due to anticipated severe weather conditions.
A new performance date has not yet been announced. Ticket holders will be contacted once rescheduling information becomes available.
Due to forecasted inclement winter weather in metro Atlanta, the Fox Theatre has postponed Blue Man Group performances originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, 2026.
The performances have been rescheduled for June 16 and June 17, 2026. Tickets will be honored for the new dates. Patrons should check their email or contact the Fox Theatre box office for additional details regarding exchanges or refunds.
Saturday, January 24 Best of Week performances have been postponed to Saturday, February 7 at 2:00 PM. Those who have tickets for January 24 (tomorrow) can be transferred to the February 7 at 2:00 PM performance, OR can receive a refund.

Due to the arctic freeze impacting Central Texas, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Saturday, January 24 7:30pm performance of Murder on the Orient Express.

Due to anticipated weather conditions on Sunday, January 25, the start time of Dancing with the Stars LIVE has moved from 7:00pm to 1:00pm. If you are unable to attend the new time or you prefer a refund, you have until Sunday, January 25 at 11:00AM ET to request one through your original point of purchase. Due to the snowstorm, The Dynamic Duo cabaret performance has been postponed. The show has been rescheduled for January 31 at 2:30 PM.

Due to winter weather conditions, several performances of SPAMALOT at Belk Theater have been affected.
The Saturday, January 24 matinee at 2:00 PM will proceed as scheduled. The Saturday, January 24 evening performance at 7:30 PM has been rescheduled to Monday, January 26 at 7:30 PM. Sunday, January 25 performances have also been rescheduled. The 1:00 PM matinee will now take place on Tuesday, January 27 at 2:00 PM, and the 6:30 PM evening performance has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 27 at 7:30 PM.
All impacted ticket holders will receive an email with additional information regarding their tickets.

Due to the forecasted severe weather advisory, for the wellbeing of our patrons the performance of Little Shop of Horrors scheduled for January 23rd at 7:30pm is cancelled.

Inclement weather in the North Texas region has forced The Dallas Opera to cancel its upcoming Hart Institute for Women Conductors 10th Anniversary Showcase Concert, reception, and celebration dinner, originally scheduled for Sunday, January 25.
“We were so looking forward to celebrating the Hart Institute’s 10th anniversary this weekend,” said Ian Derrer, TDO’s Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO. “However, the safety of our artists, audiences, and staff takes precedence. We hope to be able to celebrate this remarkable program in the future.”

Due to inclement weather, Alley Theatre will be closed on Sunday, January 25. Performances of Real Women Have Curves on Sunday have been canceled. Audience members who have already purchases tickets for those performances can reschedule for another performance of the production. The Pennyroyal Arts Council has canceled the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Sleeping Beauty, which was scheduled for Jan. 26–31, due to impending inclement weather.

Due to the severe weather forecast for Sunday, January 25, the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) and SUFFS have announced that the Sunday, January 25 matinee performance at 1PM and evening performance at 6:30PM have been cancelled.
Sunday, January 25th ticketholders who purchased from the PPAC Box Office and from ppacri.org do not need to take any further action; refunds will be automatically issued. Please allow five to seven business days for a refund to be posted to a ticketholder's account.
