NCTC is proud to present the San Francisco premiere of The Busy World is Hushed by Keith Bunin and directed by Dennis Lickteig. The show previews March 25 - April 1, 2011, opens on Saturday, April 2nd and runs through May 1, 2011: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. All performances will take place at The New Conservatory Theatre Center (Walker Theatre), located at 25 Van Ness Ave. near Market St. in San Francisco, 94102. ABOUT THE SHOW
The Busy World is Hushed tells the story of Hannah, a minister and Bible scholar, who finds her faith at odds with that of Thomas, her estranged, wayward son. But when an inquisitive young writer hired to assist Hannah with her latest publication learns painful secrets from Hannah's past, she spies a risky, unconventional opportunity for reconciliation. Faith, sexuality, love, and loss are addressed in this provocative and moving new play.
