Shakespeare's most enchanting, comical and inspiring plays explores confusing twists of love, rivalry and dislocation. Experience the Bard's "most rare vision" when this magical tale moves from an enchanted forest to an urban jungle for a contemporary look at love and magic.

Sonoma State University Department of Theatre Arts & Dance presents A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. This play of multiple transformations reunites Paul Draper (director), Rob Hamilton (sets), Robyn Spencer (costumes), John Connole (lights/projections), Nancy Lyons (choreography) and award-winning guitarist Alex de Grassi (music composition) for this remounting of the memorable 1998 SSU production. Directed by Paul Draper.

A special post show discussion follows the 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 matinee performance.
Director Paul Draper, members of the creative team plus cast members from both the 1998 and 2011 SSU productions of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" discuss changes in the contemporary landscape since the SSU "Midsummer" production was presented in 1998. The panel will explore how changes in world events, relationships, technology, social networking and politics over the last 13 years are reflected in the current 2011 production.

PARKING: After entering the main entrance of Sonoma State University, turn right. The main parking lot is to the left. Walk from the main parking lot using the ramp to the theater which is to the left of the parking lot. Campus parking free after 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday and weekends.

TICKETS: $9 to $16 / Sonoma State University students FREE for all performances.
$9 students and seniors; $14 Sonoma State University faculty and staff; $16 general admission
