San Francisco Landmarks Turn Green In Honor Of WICKED
San Francisco is painting the town green to welcome the musical hit phenomenon, Wicked, back home to San Francisco, where it made its world premiere in 2003.
The city's iconic monuments will be lit green to celebrate the open ended engagement of the new San Francisco company of Wicked which began performances at The Orpheum Theatre on January 27.
From its roots in the city by the bay, Wicked has gone on to become a worldwide phenomenon that has since redefined theatrical popular culture and been seen by 15 million people.
