Due to overwhelming audience response, Peaches Christ Productions and MediumFace Productions announced today the extension of SHOWGIRLS! The Musical!, making its West Coast premiere at San Francisco's Victoria Theatre (2961 16th Street). Originally scheduled to close on Sunday, August 20, tickets are now on-sale through Sunday, August 27.

Performances of SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! will take place Wednesdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $32-$45 and are available at the Victoria Theatre box office (2961 16th Street) or by visiting www.peacheschrist.com.

Peaches Christ Productions also announced exclusive group benefits that are now available. Groups of five or more will receive a group photo with the cast after the show; groups of 10 or more will receive a photo with the cast, as well as a signed SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! poster, free Peaches Christ t-shirt and one free lap dance by Peaches' legion of live "dude-girls." Groups of 15 or more will receive all of the above benefits, as well as a special invitation to the dress rehearsal on Tuesday, August 9!

In addition, Peaches Christ will make a special appearance at Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream (2790 Harrison St) on Saturday, August 6 from 1-3 p.m. to promote "Peaches and Popcorn (PNP)," her limited edition ice cream flavor created especially for SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! Guests are invited for a first (and free) taste of the ice cream and an opportunity to take a photo with Peaches Christ. Appropriately called "Peaches and Popcorn (PNP)," the flavor is a combination of fresh peaches and buttery popcorn. The limited edition flavor will be available at both Humphry Slocombe locations (2790 Harrison Street and 1 Ferry Building, San Francisco) August 1-31, 2016.

Based on the 1995 so-bad-it's-good "cinematic masterpiece," SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! tells the story of the beautiful drifter, Nomi Malone, as she goes from stripper to showgirl in Las Vegas. Catching the glittery eye of Stardust Casino's superstar stripper, Cristal Connors, Nomi sees an opportunity for her desire to become real. But there is only room for one star on the marquee as the battle of the showgirls begins. Starring April Kidwell - direct from the New York engagement - as Nomi Malone and legendary drag queen Peaches Christ as Cristal Connors, SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! will have audiences singing, dancing...and thrusting in their seats!

Written and directed by composing team Bob and Tobly McSmith, SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! made its debut in New York City in 2013 - where the critical and audience response was overwhelmingly positive. This off-off Broadway spoof of the 1995 film that won seven Razzie Awards, including Worst Actress (Elizabeth Berkley), Worst Director (Paul Verhoeven), Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Couple, stays true to the unintentionally campy nature of the film.

Under the direction of Joshua Granell (Peaches Christ), SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! stars April Kidwell* as Nomi Malone, Peaches Christ as Cristal Connors, Marcus Desion* as Molly, Tim Wagner as Kyle MacLachlan, Bobby Barnaby as Gay, Raya Light as Andrew Rapersoon, Rori Nogee* as Labia and Russian Roulette as Mittens.

The creative team for SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! includes Peter Fogel (Music Director), Ric Ray (Set Designer), Amie Sarazan (Costume Designer) , Sharon Boggs (Sound Designer) and Rory Davis (Choreographer).

For those who can't fathom the idea of eating brown rice and vegetables, grab that large, buttery popcorn because with every salty purchase, "snack" obsessed Audience members will receive a personalized lap dance by Peaches' legion of live "dude-girls," to get you in the mood and make you feel like you're back at the Cheetah strip lounge. As Peaches would say, "the show is about to begin," with her signature "Free Lap Dances with Every Large Popcorn." Tips from the Free Lap Dances will be donated to The Shanti Project.

SHOWGIRLS! The Musical! contains nudity, strong language and mature themes. It is age restricted to 18+ only. No exceptions.
