Rrazz Room Announces June Line-Up

The Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko San Francisco today announced plans to present four nationally acclaimed artists beginning mid-June: celebrated lesbian comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer in A Bottom On Top, June 19 21; recording artist and sister to Barbra Streisand, Rosyln Kind, June 22 23; Broadway's original Annie star Andrea McArdle, June 26 28; and the Bay Area's own blonde siren of song Sony Holland with a new CD release show, June 29 30.
Suzanne Westenhoefer in A Bottom On Top, June 19 21, is well known to Bay Area audiences for her ribald humor and sharp wit on a variety of topical issues from politics to lesbian rights. She's been described as "fearless," "bold," "sparkly," and "hilarious." That's Suzanne Westenhoefer in a nutshell. She made a career about of telling the truth. And the truth is, life is funny, and for Westenhoefer no one is off limits. From her sister's obsession with "Passion of the Christ" to her girlfriend's Herculean thighs, Suzanne tells stories that leave audiences in stitches. Her one-hour show was filmed live in Indianapolis in front of a crowd as diverse as her material.Roslyn Kind, June 22 23, is familiar to both national and international audiences for her headlining appearances at some of the most prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, The Greek Theater and London's Café Royal. She began her performing career while still in her teens with the release of her first album, "Give Me You." A whirlwind of performing activity followed including engagements at the nation's top nightclubs, acclaim from Time magazine and three appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show leading up to her show-stopping New York debut at the Plaza Hotel's legendary Persian Room. On Broadway, she starred in the crowd-pleasing musical revue 3 from Brooklyn. Other theatrical credits include the Off-Broadway productions Show Me Where the Good Times Are, Leader of the Pack and Ferguson the Tailor. In 2006, she made her long awaited and rapturously received Carnegie Hall debut with her frequent musical collaborator and friend, Michael Feinstein.
