North Bay Stage Company's GUYS & DOLLS Opens This Weekend at Luther Burbank Center

Guys and Dolls is gangsters, gamblers, dames and more. "This acclaimed musical, performed in-concert with a live orchestra is "joy in its purest form!" Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, it received nearly unanimous positive reviews from critics and won a bevy of awards, including Tony Awards, Drama Desks and Olivier's during its run on Broadway and the West End," says John DeGaetano, artistic director for NBSC.

In this oddball romantic comedy, gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.

Join the wonderful cast: Audie Foote, Brianna McGuire, Cindy Brillhart-True, Cheri DuMay, David Strock, Gary Sciford, Jack McEnhill, Jeffrey Schmidt, John Cassidy, Johnny DeBernard, JuliAnna Leonardo, Larry Scharf, Maureen O'Neill, Mia Carmera, Paul Johnson, Paul Mackinnon, Sarah Foster, Susan Markcity, Tim Shippey, Whitney Lawson, and William Stone in this non-stop musical comedy masterpiece. *The role of Sarah Brown will be performed on the following dates by: Maureen O'Neill - April 28, 30, May 5, 12, 13; and Sarah Foster - on April 29, May 6, 7, 14.

Directed by John DeGaetano, musical director Les Pfutzenreuter. Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Time Magazine pronounced Guys and Dolls as "the greatest of all American musicals."

The show is scheduled for a limited 9 performance only run April 28, 29, 30* May 5, 6, 7* 12, 13, 14* - 2017. Shows at 8pm or * Signifies Sunday matinee at 2pm. Doors open half hour before the show at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts - East Auditorium. Concessions (available before and during the show) will feature Mindy's CheesecakE. North Bay Stage Company is a resident theatre company of Luther Burbank Center for the Arts located at 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa, CA.
