NCTC is proud to present the West Coast premiere of Don't Ask, a drama by Bill Quigley and directed by Ben Randle.The show previews August 13 - 20th (Press Night is Friday, August 20th), opens on Saturday, August 21st and runs through September 19, 2010: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. All performances will take place at The New Conservatory Theatre Center (Decker Theatre), located at 25 Van Ness Ave. near Market St. in San Francisco, 94102. Tickets range from $22 - $40, and are available at the NCTC Box Office (415) 861-8972, or online at www.nctcsf.org.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Bill Quigley's Don't Ask comes to NCTC after a premiere at the NY Fringe Festival in 2006 where it was cited in top ten lists by the New York Times, NY Daily News, and Variety. The screenplay version of Don't Ask has been optioned by Oscar-nominated producer, Stuart Benjamin (Ray, Mortal Thoughts, Queens Logic), and is currently in development.

Set during the Iraq War, worlds collide when a dangerous affair between a reckless U.S. Army Private and his superior grows truly perilous in this dark, sexually-charged, brutal drama.
