Mojo Theatre Presents LAST LOVE, Now thru 5/19
Given the recent events in Boston, Mojo Theatre felt that it was important to reach out and make clear that its upcoming production, Last Love, features a terrorist event. Having family members and friends who escaped harm at the Boston Marathon, the theatre realizes that for some people it may be difficult to watch a similar event portrayed onstage just weeks later.
Mojo Theatre's production of Last Love, a U.S. premiere opening tonight, May 2nd, was put on the production schedule months ago. It poignantly deals with what it means to live in a post-9/11 world.
This play is a dark comedy. Mojo hopes that the comedic elements will not only offer insights into our own relationships but help people to laugh, heal, and lighten some of the darkness.Last Love by Peter Papadopoulos runs tonight, May 2-May 19, Thurs-Sun at 8:00pm at The Mojo Theatre, 2940 16th St, #217, San Francisco, Calif.
