Marin Shakespeare to Celebrate 25th Season with Gala, 5/31

There will be "Much Ado About Something" and it's something silver.

Marin Shakespeare Company celebrates its 25th Silver Season Saturday, May 31 with a gala celebration "Much Ado About Something" on the campus of Dominican University of California, in San Rafael.

The event, presented 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the recently restored Edgehill Mansion, will include dinner and fine wines, entertainment and surprises.

Individual tickets are $125 per person. Benefactor tables are available for $2,500. Proceeds benefit the Marin Shakespeare Company, which produces a summer season of performances at Dominican University's Forest Meadows Amphitheatre, as well as year-round educational programs in public schools; summer camps; intern programs; and Shakespeare at San Quentin.

Reservations for "Much Ado About Something" are preferred by May 15.
