Marin Shakespeare Company celebrates its 25th Silver Season in 2014 and opens its outdoor festival with a classic production of "As You Like It."

Marin Shakespeare established its summertime Shakespeare festival tradition in 1990 with this exuberant comedy set in the Forest of Arden, which features Shakespeare's oft-quoted speech "All the world's a stage."

Thanks to a special 25th Silver Season gift from an anonymous donor, when audiences attend any performance of "As You Like It" this summer, all tickets are "Pay As You Like It." Donations of any amount will be accepted at the door for all performances July 5 to Aug. 10, 2014, including the Silver Season Celebration on Saturday, July 12, 2014. The July 12 pre-show, opening night event at 6:30 p.m. will include a dessert buffet, champagne toasts and special entertainment, music and festivities.

The MSC 2014 summer festival season continues with "Romeo and Juliet," opening on July 26 and "An Ideal Husband," opening Aug. 23. Performances are presented outdoors and in repertory through Sept. 28, 2014 at Forest Meadows Amphitheatre, located on the campus of Dominican University of California in San Rafael, Calif.

The amphitheater opens one hour prior to show time for picnicking. Audiences are encouraged to bring picnics or purchase snacks at the Theatre Cafe. Warm clothing, jackets and blankets are recommended for evening performances. Parking is free.

Individual admission to all "As You Like It" performances is "Pay As You Like It."

Admission for "Romeo and Juliet" and "An Ideal Husband" is $12 for previews and $35 general; $32 senior; and $20 youth for all other performances. "Pay Your Age" is offered to audience members between the ages of 20 and 35-years old when purchasing tickets at the Box Office on the day of any performance, with valid identification.
