Marin Shakespeare Co Offers Special Tix for TAMING OF THE SHREW, 8/13
The Marin Shakespeare Company is offering a special ticket offer for its 8 PM performance of its pirate adaptation of THE TAMING OF THE SHREW this Friday, Aug. 13. Patrons may come to the Marin Shakespeare Company box office between 7 and 8 p.m. this Friday and say "arrrgh!" for the $20 ticket price for adults and free admission for audience members 18 and under.
Shakespeare's feistiest lovers cast off in this swashbuckling version of the THE TAMING OF THE SHREW. This mad, romantic, seafaring romp will appeal to all ages with its "Pirates of the Caribbean" setting. The production is presented outdoors at Forest Meadows Amphitheatre at Dominican University of California, in San Rafael, Calif. Directed by Robert Currier, the production features Cat Thompson and Darren Bridgett as Kate and Petruchio.
The theater opens one hour prior to show time for picnicking. Patrons may bring their own picnic or purchase snacks at the Theatre Café. Warm clothing, jackets, blankets recommended for evening performances.Photo Credit: Steven Underwood
