The darling of San Francisco's Noir City Film Festival, sultry and sizzling singer Laura Ellis, brings her velvety voice and spicy styling to vintage and modern melodies alike to Feinstein's at the Nikko for one performance only - Thursday, January 21 at 8 p.m. Tickets for Laura Ellis range in price from $25-$45 and are available now by calling 866.663.1063 or visiting www.ticketweb.com.

The show features classic, contemporary, and rarely-heard musical gems from the black and white movies of the 40's and 50's. More than 1.5 million listeners have discovered Laura Ellis' voice via videogame; she sings as the sensual character Kat, on Compulsion Game's "Contrast." Television broadcast credits include History Channel's "Route 66," "Modern Marvels" documentaries, HBO's "Carnivale," and ABC's "Modern Family."

Born and raised in the great jazz town of Kansas City, Laura resides in Southern California and now criss-crosses the nation, starring in theater productions of musical nostalgia: Film Noir-to-stage show, Femme Fatale, the sassy Cinema Sweethearts, and early Rock and Roll romp, Kit and the Kats - Remember When? She has graced the cabaret stage from coast to coast and now makes her Feinstein's at the Nikko debut.

Alan Paul, of The Manhattan Transfer produced her first CD, "Here Lies Love," calling Laura "the consummate performer whose command of the stage is truly mesmerizing to an audience." Laura's ode to Film Noir, "Femme Fatale," followed. Her newest recording, "Broken Lovely," blends vintage styling with contemporary melodies, in songs of loves lost, found, and illusive.

Master pianist, director, and arranger, John Rodby adds to the magic. A veteran of television and film, John was musical director for both Dinah Shore and Al Martino and worked as a keyboardist-arranger for Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Rita Moreno, Tiny Tim, Connie Francis, Peter Marshall, and Carol Lawrence. Bassist Sam Bevan has established himself as one of the most versatile musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area, capturing a large musical landscape where jazz, funk, R&B, folk and Afro-Cuban disciplines joyously intermingle.

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko by Executive Chef Philippe Striffeler, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.
