Ignite Your Imaginiation At Cal Shakes' Costume Shop Sale 8/6-9

The California Shakespeare Theater costume department has just completed a huge reorganization of its inventory, and the result is tons and tons of costumes, wigs, and accessories, to be sold to the public at thrift-store prices for a few days only. 35 years’ worth of hats, armor, capes, Renaissance and Tudor, unique modern pieces—a little bit of everything! Perfect for Burning Man costumes, Ren Faire, Halloween, and what-have-you.

The Cal Shakes Costume shop sale will take place from Thursday, August 6–Sunday, August 9, 11am–6pm at the Cal Shakes RehearsAl Hall, 701 Heinz Ave., West Berkeley (Just a few blocks west of San Pablo and north of Ashby).

Cal Shakes’ 35th anniversary season continues with Noël Coward’s Private Lives, July 8-August 2; Happy Days, starring four-time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason August 12-September 6; and A Midsummer Night’s Dream September 16-October 11. All performances are held at Bruns Amphitheater, 100 Gateway Boulevard in Orinda. Ticket information is available at www.calshakes.org or 510.548.9666.
