Ice Glen at Aurora Theatre Begins Nov. 3, through Dec. 10

The Aurora Theatre Company ushers in the holidays with the West Coast Premiere of Joan Ackermann's Gilded-Age romantic comedy Ice Glen Nov. 3 - Dec. 10, directed by Barbara Oliver.

Set in 1919 at a once-thriving Berkshire estate, Ice Glen traces a triangle of love and infatuation between Dulce Bainbridge, the widowed proprietress of the mansion, erudite Atlantic Monthly editor Peter Woodburn, and the estate's reclusive poet/gardener Sarah, whom Woodburn pursues (at the behest of Edith Wharton) for permission to publish her poetry," states press notes, "Once in the Berkshires, Woodburn, who is in full control at his desk, finds himself completely out of control in this new bucolic setting.
