Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, welcomes the holiday season with the Tony Award-winning musical classic, Fiddler on the Roof. In the Little Village of Anatevka, we meet Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill in them traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

The winner of eleven Tony Awards - including Best Musical - Fiddler on the Roof will run December 3 - December 20, 2015 at Hillbarn Theatre (1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City). Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m., Saturday matinees on December 12 and 19 at 2 p.m. as well as Sundays at 2 p.m. Press night for Fiddler on the Roof will be Friday, December 4, 2015.
