Hillbarn Theatre Presents Diablo Ballet, 3/30 & 31

The award-winning dance company Diablo Ballet makes an appearance at Hillbarn Theatre in Foster City on Friday March 30th and Saturday March 31st. For tickets and information, please call 650-349-6411 or visit www.HillbarnTheatre.org.
Known for their exciting and innovative performances, Diablo Ballet will present their Inside the Dancer's Studio Series performing works by several of the most renowned choreographers in the bay Area and the world. The Program features the South Bay Premiere of the duet from Mercurial Manoeuvres, by Christopher Wheeldon, one of today’s most exciting choreographers from England. Also presented will beEscaping Game by KT Nelson, Co-Artistic Director of ODC/San Francisco, and Back in the Day, the new dance work set to the music of Frank Sinatra by David Fonnegra. The performances feature live music under the direction of Diablo Ballet's Musical Director Greg Sudmeier. Each program ends a lively, interactive Q&A with the the dancers, choreographers and musicians.
Following the performance, the audience is invited to mingle and meet the dancers at a complimentary reception in Hillbarn’s lobby.
After the Saturday March 31st 2:00 PM performance, young dance fans and their parents are invited to theLittle Ballerina Tea in the Hillbarn courtyard. Featuring specially prepared tea food and drink, young ballet fans are invited to meet and take pictures with the dancers.
Since 1993, Diablo Ballet based in Walnut Creek, CA has been one of Northern California’s most acclaimed dance companies. Presenting classical and new, innovative dance works, the Company features an international roster of professional dancers from many countries including Japan and Venezuela.
