Foothill Music Theatre and Foothill Theatre Arts to Present LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, 2/20-3/9

By: Oct. 31, 2013

Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre and Foothill Theatre Arts present the rock musical comedy LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving. Soon his plant, "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination! LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, composed by Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Hercules) and written by Howard Ashman (Disney's Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast), will be directed by Milissa Carey, with musical direction by Dolores Duran-Cefalu, and choreography by Amanda Folena.

The show runs February 20 - March 9, 2014, with a preview on 7:30pm Thursday, February 20. Press opening: 8pm Friday, February 21. The show is performed on Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays/Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm at Lohman Theatre, Foothill College, at the bottom of the hill.
