6th Street Playhouse proudly presents "Dirty Blonde", a comedy with music by Claudia Shear from February 26 to March 14, 2010. The production is directed by Tara Blau.
The wit, career and irresistible appeal of legendary Hollywood star Mae West is remembered and explored in this awarding winning comedy. Two devoted Mae West fans swap stories and admiration of Mae West with comedy, history and musical flashbacks that honor the campy, sexy, groundbreaking icon who challenged film censors while titillating 1930s movie audiences with her memorable double entendres and erotic, independent female characters.
