This holiday season, American Musical Theatre of San Jose will present a world premiere spectacular: Christmas Dreamland, an all singing, all dancing extravaganza to be staged at the Heritage Theatre in Campbell from Nov. 24 to Dec. 24. This delightful confection is expected to become a Bay Area yuletide favorite for the entire family.

"One starry Christmas Eve, a young boy slips off to slumber-land and awakens in a remarkable land of Christmas dreams, where penguins sing doo-wop, pigs perform as prima ballerinas, and snow women spring to life," states press notes.

Silver-belled showgirls will lead audiences right into the snowflake-filled fantasy, directed by AMTSJ Artistic Director Tim Bair, choreographed and written by Troy Rintala, and featuring both original music composed and arranged by Dolores Duran-Cefalu, as well as re-imagined versions of favorite holiday classics.  An animated action sequence takes audiences through a story-book dreamscape via the expertise of San Francisco's Maverix Studios. In partnership with the City of Campbell, American Musical Theatre of San Jose is proud to inaugurate a five season collaboration of this world premiere, expected to become a Bay Area yuletide favorite for the entire family.

Preview performances are Nov. 24 and 25, an Opening Night Sunday, Nov. 26 and running through Dec. 24.  All performances are at the Heritage Theatre, located at One West Campbell Ave., Campbell, CA  95008.
