Berkeley Rep announced today that Chicago's legendary comedy theatre, The Second City, will make its first-ever appearance in Berkeley during the month of December. The Second City's Dysfunctional Holiday Revue delivers a healthy dose of seasonal satire where neither holiday film classics, family gatherings, nor Christmas carols are too sacred for a show that is the perfect alternative to the same old holiday shows. Performances begin Tuesday, December 5, 2017 and will run through Sunday, December 31, 2017. Individual tickets go on sale Thursday, October 19. Tickets start at $40 and can be purchased online at berkeleyrep.org or by phone from the box office at 510 647-2949, Tue-Sun, noon-7pm.

An evening with The Second City will not only provide audiences with the chance to see comedy stars in the making, but also give them the opportunity to see hilarious satire and cutting-edge improvisation - all with a wicked holiday slant. It's a fast-paced, interactive comedy revue filled with style and wit - where even Rudolph is fair game.
