BATS Improv Hosts Theatresports Spring 2013 Tournament, Now thru 5/24
BATS Improv is set to present Theatresports Spring Tournament on Fridays at 8pm, beginning tonight, March 8, and running through May 24, 2013 at the Bayfront Theater (B350 Fort Mason Center, San Francisco, Calif.)
Theatresports is a fast-paced, exciting, and highly interactive night of improvised theater played as a sport. Expect lots of variety and audience participation - each Theatresports show is unique and always full of hilarious surprises.
For the Spring Tournament, the BATS Main Stage Company has split into six teams. Every Friday in March, April, and May, two team will face-off by performing a variety of scenes, games, and musical numbers - all inspired by your suggestions.
The team with the most points at the end of the match is declared the winner and moves one step closer to the Semi-Finals this May! The tournament champions will be crowned at the Championship match on May 24 and will go on to represent SF in the annual SF vs. LA Theatresports Grudge Match in Summer Improv Festival this August.
