As You Like It with CalShakes Begins Sept. 13
California Shakespeare Theater closes its season with a melodious As You Like It beginning September 13 (press opening: September 16) through October 15 at the Bruns Amphitheater in Orinda.
Artistic Director Jonathan Moscone collaborates with composer Gina Leishman, many of Cal Shakes' Associate Artists, and a live gypsy band, to create an astonishing musical version of Shakespeare's quintessential gender-bending romantic comedy. As You Like It stars L. Peter Callendar, James Carpenter, Hector Correa, Julie Eccles, Rod Gnapp, Dan Hiatt, Domenique Lozano, Delia MacDougall, Max Gordon Moore, Andy Murray, Susannah Schulman, Stephen Barker Turner, and T. Edward Webster.Previews are September 13, 14, and 15 at 8PM. Show times for regular performances are Tuesday – Thursday at 7:30PM, Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 8PM, and Sunday at 4PM. There is no performance Tuesday, October 17 and there is an additional 2PM performance September 23 only.As You Like It is performed at the California Shakespeare Theater, Bruns Amphitheater located at 100 Gateway Blvd., Orinda, CA.
