ALMOST, MAINE Plays Bus Barn Stage Company, 11/17-12/18
By: Kelsey Denette
Celebrate the spirit of the season with the residents of the rustic town of ALMOST, MAINE, a sweet tale of love and snow by John Cariani. Just in time for the holidays, this charming show opens November 17 and runs through December 18 on the Bus Barn Stage in Los Altos.
ALMOST, MAINE takes place over a single cold and clear moonless night where all is not quite what it seems. As the Northern Lights hover over this winter wonderland, the residents of this mythical town find themselves falling under a magical reverie, falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. In nine delightful vignettes, knees get bruised and hearts get broken... but The Bruises heal and the hearts mend in this lovely, romantic Mid-Winter Night's Dream. Bus Barn Stage Company's production of ALMOST, MAINE is directed by Bus Barn Stage Company Artistic Director Barbara J. Cannon and features Kimberly Gelbwasser, Sean Gilvary, Steve Gold, FrEd Pitts, Rebecca Maiten and Kelly Rinehart as the residents of a town under the spell of the season.Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 P.M.
