6th Street Playhouse Presents Independent Eye's FRANKENSTEIN

By:

The Independent Eye presents a new vision of Mary Shelley's classic novel. Described as "live theatrical animation," the production features a trio of actors, two dozen life-size puppets, poetry, music and video. Adapted by Conrad Bishop & Elizabeth Fuller of Sebastopol, California this "Frankenstein" tells the story of a man who, tormented by the death of his mother, seeks to conquer death by making birth obsolete.

Known for its innovation in storytelling, original designs and masterful skills, The Independent Eye has been heralded for redefining puppet theater. The troupe has toured the United States for more than 30 years, logging over 3,000 shows in big cities and tiny towns, from Off-Broadway to church basements and even people's living rooms.

The Independent Eye's "Frankenstein" is co-produced by The Independent Eye and 6th Street Playhouse.
