Kim's Convenience at Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage at the Old Globe Theatre

Kim's Convenience is an award-winning comedy by Ins Choi, directed by Weyni Mengesha, that inspired the hit Netflix series of the same name. Korean-born Mr. Kim runs a Toronto convenience store while raising his Canadian children with traditional values, as generational tensions rise and the neighborhood gentrifies. The cast includes Ins Choi as Appa, Kelly Seo as Janet, Esther Chung as Umma, Ryan Jinn as Jung, and Brandon McKnight as Rich, Alex, Mr. Lee, and Mike. The production is a San Diego premiere presented by Soulpepper Theatre Company and Adam Blanshay Productions, in association with American Conservatory Theater.
