Dear Doc - WWII Letters Home is a reading of SDSU military members' letters home during World War II, co-produced by Write Out Loud and Scripps Ranch Theatre. Written by Jonnie Wilson, the piece was developed in partnership with San Diego State University as a tribute to the authors of 5,000 WWII letters housed in SDSU Library's Special Collections and University Archives. The program honors the legacy of Dr. Lauren C. Post, a World War I veteran and SDSU geography professor who received letters from former San Diego students and published them in a monthly Aztec News Letter.
