MOONLIGHT Adds TITANIC to Summer Lineup
Moonlight Stage Productions announces "Titanic" is the fourth production added to the summer 2016 schedule. The San Diego regional premiere of the haunting, five-time Tony award-winning production is August 16, 2016, and runs through Sept. 3, 2016.
"Titanic" is a riveting musical in which the hopes and dreams of rich and poor, heroes and cowards, lovers and foes are woven together in a celebration of the human spirit. "'Titanic' is an epic, moving show that is intimidating to many theatres because of its size and scope, says Steve Glaudini, producing artistic director, Moonlight Stage Productions. "I feel the real reason to produce this majestic piece is that it doesn't rely on a fictional story, but of the true history of these First, Second, Third Class passengers and Crew of the Titanic through the stunning music of Maury Yeston and the beautiful book by the master script writer Peter Stone. With our new theatre we can give this rarely produced work full justice."
