Opera Around the World is a free seven-week outdoor concert series produced by Park City Opera in partnership with Mountain Town Music, held every Monday evening from July 13 through August 24 at the Bandstand at City Park. Each week, members of Park City Opera's Artists Collective perform arias, art songs, and chamber works representing the musical heritage of a different region, traveling from the Americas to the Alps and beyond. The July 13 edition focuses on America, featuring vocal music from the American tradition. No tickets are required, and audiences are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the performances against Park City's mountain backdrop.
