Utah Rep is pleased to present the Utah premiere of i love you because. This musical, which opened off-Broadway in 2006, is a modern musical twist on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice with beautiful music and some hilarious scenes. Set in New York City, this story revolves around how a young, uptight greeting card writer’s life is changed when he meets a flighty photographer. Along with their eccentric friends and siblings, they learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them. Music by Joshua Salzman and lyrics by Ryan Cunningham.
