Inside the historic Eagles Hall, what used to be The Bay nightclub on the corner of 400 South and West Temple, Sackerson is hard at work with a team of designers and dancers transforming the building into an immersive, dance-party theatre experience opening March 17, 2017 and running thru April.

The Salt Lake City-based SONDER is the creation of choreographer Graham Brown. It's the final evolution of six years of work most recently seen in his critically-acclaimed production of YOU (2015) at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City.

"Through each evolution--from proscenium, to immersive black box theatre, to now a fully-immersive multi-directional production--we address the question of 'Do you see yourself in it?'. SONDER speaks to the importance of social and societal connection both narratively through its characters, and literally through audience choice and interaction. Lines are blurred between performance and experience, between performer and spectator. Audience are as likely to get lost in self-reflection as they are in the characters, only to be jolted into the next reality in the next room over." - Graham Brown, Creator/Choreographer

Brown approached Sackerson about a collaboration on the piece in 2015 after seeing their innovative BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN wherein they transformed a vacant industrial warehouse into a pop-up theatre.

"We've driven by Eagles Hall for years and when Graham approached us with his project we knew this would be the dream venue. We're ecstatic. We actually get to transform three floors of this beautiful building into Salt Lake City's first large-scale, fully-immersive, theatrical experience. More than that, we're excited by Graham's show. We think audiences will be surprised by the way this show offers every single ticket holder a unique experience, and at the same time feel a unifying communal effect with their fellow audience members." - Alex Ungerman, Sackerson Producer

Sackerson presents SONDER in transformed Eagles Hall: a 3-floor immersive, dance-party theatre experience. Tickets: $20 with multi-ticket discounts at www.SonderSLC.com.
