Local Equity Principal Auditions (EPAs) for Pioneer Theatre Company's 2010-2011 Season will be held on Friday, June 25th, 2010. Auditions are for actors ages 18 and up. Audition time slots are from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If these slots are 75% filled in advance, additional time will be made available.

Auditioners should prepare either two contrasting monologues or one monologue and an audition song. An accompanist will be provided; auditioners should bring sheet music as needed. Auditions will be held in Room 245 of the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, located at 300 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City. The first show of the 2010-2011 Season, HAMLET, is already cast; auditioners will not be auditioning for roles in that production.

ElizaBeth Williamson will oversee EPAs. If you have recently been in a show at PTC, or are sure that PTC is familiar with your work, you do not need to audition. Show-specific auditions will still be held; notice of those auditions is forthcoming.

Only AEA (Equity) members may reserve an audition time slot. Non-Equity actors are also welcome and will be seen as time permits, but may not reserve an audition time slot in advance. Equity members may email ElizaBeth Williamson at elizabeth.williamson@ptc.utah.edu, or may come into the theatre to sign up for an audition time. The sign-up sheet will be posted by noon on Friday, June 18th, 2010 in Room 325 of the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. This sign-up sheet is for Equity actors only.

Non-Equity actors may come to the theatre as early as 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25th, 2010, at which point a non-Equity waiting list will be started. Actors on the waiting list will be seen as time permits throughout the day.
